News item on the filming of fish feeding at 7.7km depth in the Japan Trench in the Pacific – work carried out by a joint UK-Japan team. It is claimed that the film represents the deepest ever record of living fish. It is also claimed that the fish are “surprisingly cute” – something which, personally, I can’t go along with at all!
